Basset work

On duty first thing this morning, those squirrels never stop!! Good thing I was able to alert mom to the pending danger….

Afterwards I decided to rest, need to keep my strength up for the next round!

Staying warm…

It’s that time of year again where I need my staff to step it up a little…the temperature has dipped down and I need some extra preparations to stay warm while doing my business…

Luckily our pals at Howlin’ Hounds know how to keep a basset warm!! With custom snoods and coats for the hard to fit hound body….

Also the staff has to do a little outside prep work and shovel some paths and potty areas since I have low clearance…. well that’s it for now stay warm everyone!!

Best of 2019…on to 2020!

Just wanted to share some highlights from the year with Everyone…

These were some of my best faces that resulted in me getting my own way…

Best snooter shot while begging for some of mom’s food.

My two best holiday photo shoots…

Two of my best outdoor shots..us bassets love adventure!!

Birthday girl πŸŽ‚

Happy 9th birthday to our sweet girl Miss Lilly! We have spent the morning pampering her and opening presents 🎁

New toys and some yummy treats and later we will take her out for her favorite burger πŸ”

For now she is busy resting in her sunny spot….we love our girl and can’t wait for the next 9 years!!

Slow Halloween

Well we had a slow start this year, but eventually Captain Marvel decided it was time to get up…

Survey the situation….

And head out for her mission to wish everyone a Happy Howl-o-ween! ( also to make sure she collected her treats)

Not impressed..

So pals mom decided to try a different flea and tick prevention this year, a flea collar, needless to say it didn’t go so well..

So after an emergency vet visit and three different medicines ( an antibiotic, medicated wipes and an ointment) we were back home without the collar.

A few days later I didn’t want to get up and go potty or eat so we had to go see our regular vet. They switched me to a different medicine and within a couple days I was back to my feisty, incredibly adorable, old self except for the bare spot on my chest.

Mom and I are both glad that it is over and I’m feeling better. It was definitely scary so please be sure to check daily if you are wearing a flea collar!
