So this year Miss Lilly’s birthday happened to fall on Thanksgiving. We did manage a proper celebration complete with presents, cake and singing 🎵

Her cake selection was summer beef sausage ( she is the world’s pickiest eater) which she happily ate and refused to share with her brother. He admired it from afar because he was scared of the candle 😂

Then came the presents which she decided she could share with Oliver after a little convincing by Mom.

All in all she had a very nice and relaxing birthday, just like any basset hound would appreciate! Although it is hard to believe she is 13 already, seems like just yesterday she was a young pup. Here’s to another 13 !!! ❤️❤️❤️
