Being that the weather has kept us inside more than usual someone has taken the opportunity to try and score some extra sharsies. First the nose bump, then the sad face followed by a yawn of exertion.

These are soon followed by the lip lick of victory and an extreme snoot close-up hopefully leading to further sharsies.

Definitely makes meal and snack times more entertaining!! Plus who could resist that persistent cute face!!

I managed to get a few pictures recently of the ever elusive hibernating Basset…they only appear in very cold weather (anything below 35 degrees) and are rarely captured on film moving from their chair nest to their couch nest.

They always appear snuggled in a blanket like wrap that appears to cover everything but their face…

If you happen to be lucky enough to spot one do not, I repeat do not get in their migration path as massive stink eye and attitude may occur .

Here are a few of our favorite moments from 2017. Hope that you enjoyed them as much as we did. We wish all of our followers a very Happy New Year and thank you so much for joining us. Miss Lilly has made a few resolutions she would like to share: 1) try to take more naps 2) try to eat more treats 3) try to get mom to quit taking my picture all the time.

So according to my calendar there are only 3 more sleeps until the big guy comes to visit. I have decided to keep a vigilant watch by the tree until then. ( excluding small breaks for naps, potty time, snacks, meals and naps, wait did I say that one already…)

Mom says if I behave myself until then I may end up on the nice list after all. ( she is still upset about a recent cookie borrowing incident, she did let it sit on the end table for longer than 2 minutes ) I am going to ask him to replace said cookie when I see him, I may possibly ask for two just in case. 😉

We hope all of our pals near and far have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy time with their family, furry and human!

So I have decided to start helping around the house ( can’t hurt to do a little extra with Christmas so close!). I am a natural at doing laundry so I figured I start there…

I was going to use this to clean the clothes I had collected ( I mean it has to be good it has a basset right on it!) but mom said I should stick with pre-cleaning and she would handle the soap part. She did say she was going to put in a good word with the big guy though for being so helpful….I’m sure I’ll make the nice list again this year!! 🎅🏻
